Announcing Scholarship Winners and Additional Grants May 2017

THE S.T.A.R. FOUNDATION OF MONTEREY COUNTY ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL GRANTS AND PERFORMING ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS. To date the Foundation has granted $1,039,185.00 to youth-related performing arts programs and activities. The S.T.A.R. Foundation announces the latest grants. $3,878.00 Trinity Christian High School, Monterey to help subsidize youth ticket costs and to help equip their new performance space $5,000.00 PacRep/SoDA, Carmel for help with School of Dramatic Arts productions and youth ticket subsidy $10,500.00 Sol Treasures in King City to help purchase microphones and subsidize youth tickets.

FOUNDATION OF MONTEREY COUNTY ANNOUNCES LATEST GRANTS Since its inception in 2009 the Foundation has distributed grants amounting to a total of over $825,000.00 The following groups have been awarded grants in September 2015: Sol Treasures, King City: $5000.00 for the new High School musical program Monterey Jazz Festival: $6000.00 to be used for the Traveling Clinician Program PacRep: $3225. for SoDA (School of Dramatic Arts) scholarships and tickets for community youth to attend performances.
